Last month I was awful and didn’t get to either of the books on my AEaaG post. Here’s hoping April releases have better luck. And there are so many to look forward to! If you love historical fiction, get your hands on Lilac Girls by Martha Hall Kelly (April 5) and Fever at Dawn by Péter Gárdos (April 12). For some crazy adventure, Love, Lies, and Spies by Cindy Astney (April 19) may be just the thing. Finally, fantasy and diversity seekers should get their hands on The Star-Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi (April 26). When We Collided by Emery Lord

Vivi craves anything joyful or beautiful that life can offer. Jonah has been burdened by responsibility for his family ever since his father died. Their love is the answer to everything. But soon Vivi’s zest for life falters, as her adventurousness becomes true danger-seeking. Jonah tries to keep her safe, but there’s something important Vivi hasn’t told him.
At the time I’m writing this post, I’m a quarter into the book and am already mesmerized. Plus, it’s Emery Lord. I love Emery Lord. All hail Emery Lord.

I’m really looking forward to the release of The Rose and The Dagger and The Raven King. But since I haven’t read any books in the Raven Cycle series, I might do a binge read next month. Really excited to read them!

Besides The Raven King, I’m excited to read Flamecaster and to have my own copy of The Mirror King (which I loved!). The Star-Touched Queen sounds really good. And I’m very interested to try When We Collided, it’s on my kindle now. Glad you’re enjoying it!
